First Fridays are back! Here’s where you can see some art, in person.

After a spring filled with rain and vaccine rollouts, the clouds have cleared the way for summer reunions, gatherings and events. And while it's not technically summer until later this month, this First Friday promises to be a busy one with art walks around town and even a Jazz Hop.

Here's which art walks return today.

First Friday to the Art District on Santa Fe Drive is perhaps one of the most anticipated signs of a return to normalcy in Denver's art world. On June 4, visitors can enjoy works on display in and out of galleries along Santa Fe, catch a few live performances, and grab some snacks from food trucks. The festivities will run from 5:30 to 9 p.m., and organizers have asked attendees to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

Further north, the RiNo Art District will also host its own First Friday, complete with open galleries, music and food options, which considering all there is to see, eat and drink on a typical day in RiNo means there's no shortage of things to do. First Friday officially runs from 6 to 9 p.m. in the area but of course, many restaurants and breweries in the area will stay open much later. June's First Friday will also take place during RiNo's Rhino Week in an effort to raise awareness about conservation efforts for the area's namesake mascot.

Local artists will also be congregating in downtown Denver's Dairy Block, where there will also be food and music options. The location partnered with Inside Her Studio and will feature a number of women artists in the space. Since the Dairy Block is a much smaller outdoor area, would-be visitors can RSVP on the Inside Her Studio website. The event will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Over in the Five Points neighborhood, jazz lovers can take in the sounds of The Gayle Leali Jazz & Blues Quartet at the Cousins Plaza at 5:30 p.m. The performance is part of the First Friday Five Point Jazz Hop, a monthly celebration of the area's jazz history. Then at 7:30 p.m., mosey down to the Jazz Hop's second venue at Agave Shore, a new taco restaurant, for another serving of jazz and maybe some food and drinks.

And if you can somehow fit another First Friday event into your schedule, South Pearl Street will also host its latest First Friday this weekend.
