Police have arrested a man suspected in two separate stabbing attacks Thursday.
Police say a man stabbed another on an RTD bus. Later a woman was stabbed near the Regis University campus. Both victims died, and police say both attacks were unprovoked.
Denver Police responded to the reported stabbing on an RTD bus just after 5 a.m. Thursday morning. An adult male victim was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead. Police say the man responsible for the stabbing fled the scene.
First reports stated the stabbing happened after an argument. However, police said that after reviewing surveillance videos, the stabbing appeared to be unprovoked.
Then, later Thursday morning, at about 9:50 a.m., another stabbing was reported near the Regis University campus. This time an adult female victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly thereafter, officers arrested Vinchenzo Moscoso. They believe Moscoso was behind both attacks. He is being held on two counts of first degree murder.
This is a developing story.
