Sweater weather lovers, your time has come.
A cool front will move in Monday afternoon and evening. Tuesday's high will be about 70, and from Wednesday through Friday, we'll see lows in the 40s and highs in the mid-60s, according to the National Weather Service.
Denver may not see temps above 70 until Saturday and Sunday.
Before the cool temps arrive, though, Monday afternoon will be a bit dicey on the wind and storm front.
Parts of the state, including Denver, could see very strong winds and there's a chance of thunderstorms.
NWS meteorologist Bruno Rodriguez said that, while the risk of severe weather should pass through Denver fairly quickly, "folks do need to be watching out for those gusty winds, especially if you're doing anything outdoors."
Enjoy this fall tease while it lasts. You can catch me outside...probably looking at leaves...with a sweater on.
